Excavator operator — Midlothian

Immediate opening: we are hiring an excavator operator in Midlothian, Scotland. The role involves clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage. Requirements: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
