Core maker • Gulf County, Florida

Vacancy available: we are hiring a core maker in Gulf County, Florida. You will be based on the moulding line. Your main tasks: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring What we are looking for: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $24 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
