Argon welder — Jasper County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Jasper County, Illinois. You will be based in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through The role involves carry out 6G pipe welds where required; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
