Join our team: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Cherokee County, Alabama. You will be based in a steel fabrication yard. On the job you will handle: • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Read lift plans and method statements before starting Requirements: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Confident with standard crane hand signals 1+ years on the tools preferred.
