We are recruiting: we are hiring a cook in Jefferson County, Ohio. You will be based in a hotel kitchen. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure Day-to-day duties: • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes Meals and transport allowance provided.
