Scaffolding erector — Allegan County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a scaffolding erector in Allegan County, Michigan. You will work at a shipyard. You will read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class; erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage; fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid; dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely; set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground. You should have: • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
