Laundry presser wanted in Norfolk

Immediate opening: we are hiring a laundry presser in Norfolk, England. Day-to-day duties: • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments What we are looking for: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Full-time, day shift.
