Steel erection rigger — Starr County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Starr County, Texas. What we are looking for: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Day to day you will check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads. Part-time with flexible hours. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
