Crane operator — Greene County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a crane operator in Greene County, Georgia. You will be based in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. You should have: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes On a typical shift you will carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity.
