Immediate opening: lathe operator (Nebraska)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lathe operator in Nance County, Nebraska. You will work in a packaging factory. The role involves: • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges 4+ years on the tools preferred. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
