Conventional mill operator — Coventry

Immediate opening: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Coventry, England. You will be based in a die and mould making unit. Requirements: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces The role involves: • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
