We are recruiting: we are hiring a dogger in Wolfe County, Kentucky. Day to day you will inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift. Requirements: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites 3+ years on the tools preferred.
