Panel welder — Brantley County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a panel welder in Brantley County, Georgia. You will work at a busy production line. Your main tasks: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding Requirements: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
