Hoist operator — Culpeper County

Now hiring: we are hiring a hoist operator in Culpeper County, Virginia. Requirements: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Strong attention to safety and load limits On a typical shift you will follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
