Toolroom milling operator — Greene County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Greene County, Missouri. You will be based in a CNC machining unit. Requirements: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work Day-to-day duties: • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed 1+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Pay around $5,300 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
