Air conditioning installer — Steele County

Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Can read electrical and piping schematics • Own set of hand tools, gauges and flaring kit preferred Day-to-day duties: • Fault-find on PCBs, sensors and compressors with a multimeter • Braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks • Recover the refrigerant before dismantling or relocating a unit • Commission the unit and test cooling, heating and airflow • Evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
