Cement mason — Kalgo

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cement mason in Kalgo, Kebbi State. You will be based on a building construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength What we are looking for: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. ₦180,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
