Machine setter-operator • Ikwerre, Rivers State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a machine setter-operator in Ikwerre, Rivers State. The job is in a textile mill. What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills On a typical shift you will run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper.
