Immediate opening: lathe operator (Kansas)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lathe operator in Dickinson County, Kansas. You should have: • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor On a typical shift you will measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches; set up and start the machine as per the job card; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter.
