Immediate opening: production welder (Illinois)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a production welder in Macon County, Illinois. The role involves lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration. Ideal candidate: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
