Vacancy available: we are hiring a blocklayer in Northumberland County, Pennsylvania. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks You will brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder. 3+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $16 per hour, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
