Vacancy available: we are hiring a press operator in Effingham County, Illinois. The role involves adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts. Requirements: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
