Furnace operator wanted in Sunflower County

Now hiring: we are hiring a furnace operator in Sunflower County, Mississippi. On a typical shift you will check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges. What we are looking for: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Six days a week, one day off. We offer $7,250 per project plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
