Sheet metal press operator — Martin County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Martin County, Florida. The job is in a sheet metal stamping unit. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards Day-to-day duties: • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
