Urgent requirement: bricklayer (Illinois)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bricklayer in Pike County, Illinois. You will be based at a residential building site. Day to day you will erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod. Requirements: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets 2+ years on the tools preferred.
