Join our team: we are hiring a butcher in Putnam County, Florida. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry Day-to-day duties: • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking 6+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $4,000 per month, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
