Backhoe loader operator wanted in Onondaga County

Now hiring: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in Onondaga County, New York. On a typical shift you will backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift. Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise Six days a week, one day off.
