Crane operator wanted in Baylor County

Join our team: we are hiring a crane operator in Baylor County, Texas. You will work at a container port and shipping yard. On a typical shift you will follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins. You should have: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • A good head for heights for tower crane work Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
