Vacancy available: single needle operator (Imo State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a single needle operator in Oguta, Imo State. The job is on a ready-made garment production line. Day-to-day duties: • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift You should have: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
