Immediate opening: we are hiring a finishing presser in Comal County, Texas. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Day-to-day duties: • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments Part-time with flexible hours.
