Great opportunity: sewing machine operator (Wisconsin)

Now hiring: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Trempealeau County, Wisconsin. You will be based at a busy garment factory. Day-to-day duties: • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required Ideal candidate: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
