Great opportunity: we are hiring a rigger in Charles Mix County, South Dakota. The role involves set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads. You should have: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
