Now hiring: we are hiring a rigger in City and Borough of Wrangell, Alaska. The role involves: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear What we are looking for: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Six days a week, one day off.
