Fire and safety officer — Hart County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Hart County, Kentucky. You will work at a busy construction site. Your main tasks: • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date What we are looking for: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces 4+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $3,600 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
