Immediate opening: single needle operator (Pennsylvania)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a single needle operator in Berks County, Pennsylvania. You will work in a textile and apparel unit. On the job you will handle: • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish You should have: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Rotating shifts.
