Slinger signaller — Murray County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Murray County, Georgia. You will work at a busy construction site. Day to day you will coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; read lift plans and method statements before starting; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio. You should have: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
