Immediate opening: we are hiring a baker in Erie County, Ohio. The job is in a hotel pastry kitchen. You should have: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks Your main tasks: • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Score the top of loaves before baking • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
