Lathe programmer-operator — Evans County

Now hiring: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Evans County, Georgia. You will work in a tool room. Ideal candidate: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred Day-to-day duties: • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
