Order picker operator • Swain County, North Carolina

We are recruiting: we are hiring an order picker operator in Swain County, North Carolina. You will be based at a freight and logistics depot. Day-to-day duties: • Read the load capacity plate and never exceed the rated lift limit • Carry out pre-shift checks on the forks, tyres, mast and hydraulics • Keep gangways clear and observe the site speed limit • Charge the forklift battery or change the LPG cylinder safely • Top up the hydraulic oil and grease the mast chains • Position the forks square and tilt the mast to secure the load Ideal candidate: • Able to read pick lists and operate an RF scanner • Good awareness of load stability and health and safety • Comfortable working in cold store or chilled areas 6+ years on the tools preferred.
