Now hiring: we are hiring an insulation installer in Orange County, Texas. You will be based on a construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding • Prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors Requirements: • Willing to travel between sites • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $3,000 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
