Steel fixer — Coffee County

Now hiring: we are hiring a steel fixer in Coffee County, Alabama. Day-to-day duties: • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover You should have: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Part-time with flexible hours.
