Vacancy available: we are hiring a construction helper in McMullen County, Texas. The job is on a high-rise construction site. Ideal candidate: • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it Your main tasks: • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site 2+ years on the tools preferred.
