Panel welder — Sargent County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a panel welder in Sargent County, North Dakota. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs You should have: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
