Oven operator — Pratt County

Now hiring: we are hiring an oven operator in Pratt County, Kansas. You will be based at an in-store supermarket bakery. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics On the job you will handle: • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand 3+ years on the tools preferred.
