Lifting rigger wanted in Cumberland County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Cumberland County, Maine. You will read lift plans and method statements before starting; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle. What we are looking for: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Confident with standard crane hand signals On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
