Offshore rigger — Johnston County

Join our team: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Johnston County, North Carolina. The job is on an offshore oil and gas platform. Day-to-day duties: • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift What we are looking for: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams 2+ years on the tools preferred.
