Vacancy available: we are hiring a construction helper in Brown County, Indiana. You will work on a building construction site. Day to day you will stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction. What we are looking for: • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
