We are recruiting: we are hiring an elevator technician in Robeson County, North Carolina. You will work at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. On a typical shift you will respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake. Requirements: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
