Tyre service technician — Appomattox County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tyre service technician in Appomattox County, Virginia. You will work at a car service centre. Ideal candidate: • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage • 1+ years' experience fitting and balancing tyres On the job you will handle: • Demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine • Log fitments and advise customers on tyre wear and replacement • Check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear • Jack up vehicles safely and set them on axle stands • Replace faulty valves and reset TPMS sensors • Repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
