Stitching operator wanted in Adams County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stitching operator in Adams County, Iowa. What we are looking for: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory On a typical shift you will stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Contact us to fix an interview.
